Probably a little late to be asking this, but does Dudy Noble have a clear bag policy? And what is security like? Subject to pat down and/or metal detector?

From what I gather, we are basically renting the stadium out to them, so whatever is on their site is probably what to refer to.

Clear bag is in effect this weekend. The ONLY way to get a cooler in was between 2-3 today or tomorrow during stocking of the LFL, no small coolers like they do during the season can go in tonight or tomorrow at game time. So if you need a beer this weekend bend over and take it like a man because it will probably be more than the $9.99 raping that is normally in effect.
And its a zoo over there today, hundreds if not thousands of people walking and driving that have never been on this campus trying to figure out where to go eat, where to park, students trying to leave campus going home. The Union was packed at 1:00 and they start "festivities" at The Dude in a few minutes at 3:30

Party animals make announcement that they are adding the first girl to the league. Oh, and she’s from Ole Miss.

are you seeing enough people that may lead you to believe this event could set all-time stadium attendance records?

I have to admit, I enjoyed it. Didn’t think I would but they actually fit a full baseball game into 2 hours plus did all the side show stuff I didn’t have much interest in.

Seeing it in person helped me see some of the odd-ball rules they have and appreciate them from a traditional baseball fan viewpoint. I thought the whole “batter can run until all 9 players touch the ball after a walk” thing was stupid, but seeing a guy bust his butt getting down the line, or a guy hustling from 2nd all the way home on a walk was nice to fun. Same thing on “winning the inning”. Middle of the game they bring the infield in to try to get a guy at the plate so they don’t lose the inning. One of those somewhat rare situations you get to see in a game you get more frequently due to being able to win the inning.

Also enjoyed the extra innings/OT whatever they called it. All that to say, I had a good time watching the game within the party. Do I want to see MLB incorporate any of this stuff, absolutely not, but it was definitely enjoyable within the context of “banana ball”.

The Friday night crowd looked like a Saturday SEC game against any team other than LSU, OM, Ark.

I have a flask that’s disguised as a ***** with metal studs. Just didn’t know if it was going to be embarrassing going in or not.
Whether it would be embarrassing going in or not kind of depends on which “point of entry” would be chosen.

I don't know.... I could get on board with ninja umpires.

It was insanely entertaining. I totally didn't expect it to be as fun as it was. My nine-year-old, who once said about his brother, "Welp, looks like baseball is gonna ruin another weekend" had the time of his life and didn't once ask to go to the concession stand. That's a bigger endorsenment than the one Crime Dog gave to Tom Emanski.

It was up on YouTube yesterday for those interested. It started off weird, some kind of video playing over it but fast forward a little and it straightens out shortly. I didn't watch it, just wanted to see if it was up or not so the grands could watch it again.
