No College World Series champion has repeated since South Carolina in 2010-11. (Those Gamecocks also made it back to the CWS championship series in 2012 — just missing becoming the first team since USC won 5 straight in the early 1970s.)
Since the Gamecocks went back-to-back, only Vanderbilt has won a title and even returned to the championship series the following year.

That was an unbelievable ride!! Thought we were toast after that opening L to OU. The birth of Mr. Omaha, Roth. Beating Clem twice to send them home. Longest post season win streak in tournament history. So much fun.

Can't remember which year it was but it wasn't looking good for the yardcocks and I got mad and went to bed. I believe it was a work night. Wife came running in screaming we won, we won! Good times.

We won the last CWS at Rosenblatt, and the first one in the new CWS stadium.
I remember at the time that we were the only team with a chance of that but it would be hard to do. Turns out the 2nd title was easier than the 1st.
