Holy hell. Wall to wall pastries, breads, cakes, sammiches, etc. Coffee, lattes, etc. Self serve (o_O). Grab a box (o_O) or tray, tongs (😀), and grab your pastries and cakes. Order your coffee, latte, etc. and other food items at the register.

Very good. I’m spent.

At that location, the place is DOA. Don't imagine they'll get much walk-in traffic from Aldi.

They were busy steadily this afternoon.

Rumble Boxing is two doors down. Boxing, lattes, and pastries. Good fit.
Many people would consider sitting in one’s car all afternoon (without financial compensation I might add) with binoculars watching a Baguette story for customer traffic to be odd behavior.

I was watching the Tastemade channel last weekend and they had a show where they visited a few restaurants in Vienna. The first one they visited was Cafe Demel, a pastry shop which has been in business since 1786. I immediately said to myself that this is Bob92’s type of porn.

Warning, these pictures and video are not suitable for my fellow diabetics.

It's a sad day on the internet when you can type in Paris Baguette along with all the great search terms and still not come back with any lurid hits.

Looks and sounds like a pretty good place for someone like me who's a big pastry aficionado. They have a couple places near me so I'm going to give them a try. The best carrot cake I ever had was at a place called Founding Farmers in DC, the best chocolate cake I've ever had was at a place called DiMaggio's in Port Washington, LI, and the best donuts I've ever had were from Hole in One Donuts in Hesperia, CA. I'll have to compare to Paris Baguette.

Next week a drive to the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park for a sampling of their pastries.

The interesting thing about them is that they are Korean, so they are in many cases, near an H Mart, which is also awesome.

Yep Korean and very nice people. Donuts are made on site. Their glazed are much better than KK IMO and their Maple Logs may be equally as good as Red's in Monterey.

Bob,
let us forget about the pastries for now and focus on the inevitable.....
Our hunger is in our groins, not our stomachs.
Are you up to the task......?
🧐

During the 19th century, prostitutes had a little gadget to measure how long they would have sex with a client.

It was known as "Short Time Sails".

You see, it turns out that when it was time to take a client to a room, they lit some small candles. Said candles were made to burn for 5-7 minutes, and when the flame went out, it meant the customer's time was up.

5-7 minutes?!
