Several noteable SEC players were not picked in the NFL draft. Of course

Titus Brown was one of them. Hope he picks up with someone as a free agent. He's kinda one of those tweener guys from listening to the so called experts.
Here are some of the others:

Benjarvus Green-Ellis - UM
Simeon Castille - UAT
Wallace dinGilberry - UAT
DJ Hall - UAT
Ali Highsmith - This one kinda surprises me. I'm no draft expert but this guy was good at LSU.
Rafael Little - UK

Several others but these were the more high profile players not drafted.

BTW, saw where Peyton Hillis, the former UPIG FB that always punished us was picked late by the Broncos. Rugged player with good hands.....

but those are some darn good college players. What's the deal with DJ Hall? Late season attitude problems or is he too small, too slow, etc.? Agree about Highsmith & always thought Gilberry was a pretty good player, too.

</p>Saw that Titus is one of the top 5-10 best DE available. I think fifth. It was Scout ranking listed on ESPN's draft page.

AA - thinks he'll hang around a team for a couple of seasons

...IQ test score indicates he might have problems digesting a complicated playbook...Type of player that needs to be pushed and monitored and is not a self-starter...Needs to show better maturity on the field and improve his overall work ethic...Lacks true courage in traffic and struggles to get into his routes when facing a physical press..

First sentence says it all. Basically, he's a dumbass...........

Ali Highsmith is pretty short, isn't he? He could be another Sam Mills, though.

I think Titus could be a steal for someone, maybe not as a DE, but maybe as a OLB/DE/ST player. He could be a pass rush specialist.

I think Highsmith ran a 4.9 in the combine. Not that stellar.

DJ Hall surprises me.

enjoyed seeing Hester going in the 3rd round. SD will be a good place for him

anybody be in the top 5 in sacks in the SEC and not get drafted...unless you can't read or something... it's not like your applying for QB in a west coast offense....

Benjarvus Green-Ellis - UM (<font color="#CC0000">4.62 40yd dash)</font>
Simeon Castille - UAT (<font color="#CC0000">4.63 40yd dash....kinda small for a safety at 195)
</font>Wallace dinGilberry - UAT <font color="#CC0000">(hell he ran a 5 flat as a DE...no wonder he didnt get drafted)</font>
DJ Hall - UAT <font color="#CC3300">(not all that fast with a 4.54 40yd dash...not real physical, plus questions about his off field stuff)</font>
Ali Highsmith - This one kinda surprises me. I'm no draft expert but this guy was good at LSU. <font color="#CC0000">(ran a 4.68 40yd and is kinda smallish for the position and too slow to move to safety)</font>
Rafael Little - UK <font color="#CC0000">(not all that fast at 4.5)</font>

Jonathan Zenon -LSU not drafted as well
Sean Baily - UGA
