I don’t watch them play. Is Cardosa a horrible shooter? They left her as wide as open as I’ve ever seen anyone in basketball.
She is okay from FT line, but not a 3 Point Shooter at all. Think that was her 1st 3 Point make in a Gamecock uniform.
I banked in a FT once in HS and never heard the end of it from teammates and friends.
Cardosa has good form on her set shot. It was right on line regardless of whether it banked in. The reason she doesn't shoot 3s is because she is a true center and mostly stays down low plus she shoots almost 60% from in close. She doesn't shoot 3s not because she wouldn't make a fair share of her 3 pointers. It's just not her game.
But I guess we’re not talking about practice! We talking about the game, not practice! However, she said she hits them in practice and apparently practice had made her a hero !!
How many 6'7 centers are good 3 point shooters. This was a brilliant play
I did not know she was a center. Was just surprised in the replay that UT didn’t eveb have anyone within feet of her.
She has a set shot because she can't shoot a jumper. She is cemented to the floor.
LOL. Jumping is a needless waste of energy in most cases when you are a 6'7" inch woman. If you were a 7'6" man, would you need to jump much?
Neither the Mens or Womens basketball teams can defend a slashing, driving player without fouling.
TN showed how to beat this team yesterday. Plus, it does seem both MS ST and TN girls were on fire shooting lights out from everywhere. IT is what being hunted brings out of other teams I suppose.

The odd thing about that play is that we were only down by 2 points. Tenn had coceded a shot to Cardoso from even as close as the FT line. She caught the pass further out then did a step back 3 for the game winner. Fortunately the bank was open on Saturday afternoon in downtown Gville! Lol.
