regarding our baseball team. You should check them out if you can. We have been practicing, dare I say it...........BUNTING! That's right, BUNTING. I didn't know that players wearing maroon and white could do that. My jaw is still on the floor.

about during Polk's last years here, we did bunt and people still bitched. We were only 3 sac bunts behind the SEC leaders UGA & UT last year. The 'we dont know how to bunt or don't bunt enough' arguement is more worn out than 'germans'. That stats say so.

I didn't get to attend too many games the last couple of seasons. I'm pretty certain we didn't practice a whole lot of it though. It's just refreshing to know that bunting will be an emphasis for MS baseball now. Dudy Noble was built for small ball. And finally, we're about to start playing it.
