I don't know. Not sure what indication there is to support that position. I do know that Antwane burned bridges on his way out of Columbia.
I find most of the athletes respect the decisions of each other when it comes to school and career choice. I don't know NE, but nonetheless I would be surprised if he cares where Wells chose to go. In today's NIL / portal world, I would be surprised if they all didn't at least give transferring or switching commitments a thought.
Yea but that literally happens to the best of them. We should’ve won that game if OD catch the interception or dial make a routine tackle on 4th down

I think Nick was probably annoyed with Juice not playing knowing that he could’ve helped the team. Nick E is a SC kid and you can tell how passionate he is about the school. I don’t think it’s all jokes
In this case, you are correct. Obviously. There is no plausible reason to believe otherwise.

Well, Emmanwori debunks the "just jawing for laughs" theory. He was asked about this at media day yesterday. His answer was telling:
"During South Carolina’s on-campus media day Thursday, when asked if he wasn’t a fan of Wells, Emmanwori didn’t go all in.
'Nah, I’m not saying that. Whatever happened between the coaches and Juice, that’s what it is. I’m not saying anyone hates him over here. I’m not gonna say it’s bad blood. He was a good friend of mine when he was here — I’ll just keep it at that.'"
What he DIDN'T say: "Juice and I are good friends. Football is business and understand his decision and I get that. Just having some laughs with my buddy."
What he DID say: "He was a good friend of mine when he was here." You'd never word it that way for someone who is currently your friend.
He also said "a lot of people don't know his situation behind the scenes" which can be taken a thousand different ways. And he added somewhat ominously: "Just wait for the game to come to see how it plays out."
The majority media opinion also takes this as a direct shot at Wells:

Didn't Wells tool us a bit once at Ole Miss..If so, he fired the first shots and didn't he have an accomplice? Kiffin. So our kid made an error at Fl. last year. What's that got to do with a game against another opponent and former team mate this year? Name one db who hasn't made a mistake. Big deal. Not.
Bingo. I love the way a so-called fan immediately turns to a play where they can point out a mistake by one of our players. I am pretty sure every NFL Hall of Fame receiver has dropped many passes, and every defensive back has been beat by a receiver. When you play thousands of snaps you are going to get beat it doesn’t mean you are not very good.
With that said, I love the fact that Wells is getting called out. What he did showed a true lack of character... and this day and time you have to handle things extremely poorly to be called out by your former teammates, and have people questioning your character.

It may not be so much where Juice went, but not playing when needed, and then leaving on top of it. And the shots he took after he left didn't help matters any.
