The ump reacted like some people that get into a fender bender in the WalMarts parking lot and roll out the door holding their neck! That ump is a *****.
There are also 10-15x as many bots. I constantly spend my time blocking bots any time I get on the app. Maybe he shouldn't fired all the staffThis is a prime example of how Elon ruined Twitter. "sthorn_23" is some random nobody with barely 1,000 followers, but now that anyone can get the blue check mark by paying, it gives a false sense of legitimacy to troll posts like this.
And it's full of porn now too, like a bunch of replies to a HailState or Steve Robertson will be "check out my OnlyFans profile!!" Anytime I get a new follower (which should basically be never, because I never Tweet anything and don't really meet anyone new anyway), it's a pornobot. There are also 10-15x as many bots. Yes hadad has made me laugh with some of his replies. They just know sex sell so they using porn bots to lure idiots into clicking links to give them a virus or steal information or more. Some dude out there is going to be desperate and dumb enough to click on the linkAnd it's full of porn now too, like a bunch of replies to a HailState or Steve Robertson will be "check out my OnlyFans profile!!" He may not realize how much of a nosedive Twitter has taken over the last 2 years though. Basically nothing can ever be believed on there anymore.Your an dumass for sharing a fake post.
Is that why you jumped to truth social? He may not realize how much of a nosedive Twitter has taken over the last 2 years though. Basically nothing can ever be believed on there anymore.
The NCAA IS college. That’s what makes up the NCAA - colleges. And employees of those colleges - including MSU - make the decisions that mold NCAA policy. The NCAA should be banned from college
are you sure that’s the reason twitter is now “ruined”This is a prime example of how Elon ruined Twitter. "sthorn_23" is some random nobody with barely 1,000 followers, but now that anyone can get the blue check mark by paying, it gives a false sense of legitimacy to troll posts like this.
Anymore? He may not realize how much of a nosedive Twitter has taken over the last 2 years though. Basically nothing can ever be believed on there anymore.
Any Tesla sucks too nowadays. Funny how that works.are you sure that’s the reason twitter is now “ruined”
has nothing to do with it no longer being controlled by the dem party?
Anytime a player throws a bat or flips a bat, someone could get hurt. Accidents happen.Regardless if the tweet is fake, the bat flip phenomenon..... douchebagery... needs to stop.
The ncaa or conferences should put in a rule .... batters must DROP the bat inside the circle. If you release the bat outside rhe circle, warning. 2nd offense, out. If you throw the bat inside or outside the circle, it is subject to review and ejection from the remainder of the game.
That "bat flip" was just ridiculous. Dude should have been tossed for the rest of the game. Coach should DH or bench him next game.

I get that I am pushing back on a baseball view with a baseball legend, but your take seems quite accepting and dismissive of what happened.Y'all are scary. You see stuff that just isn't there.
It was an accident. It's not really a bat flip. He did not expect the ump to be there and was tossing it back towards the dugout. MAYBE he should get a one game suspension.
Twitter sucked 15 when few people knew what to use it for.are you sure that’s the reason twitter is now “ruined”

Comedy is not for everyone. The NCAA IS college. That’s what makes up the NCAA - colleges. And employees of those colleges - including MSU - make the decisions that mold NCAA policy.
So that would be hard to do.
Yeah, I know you want the death penalty for going 5 miles over the speed limit.I get that I am pushing back on a baseball view with a baseball legend, but your take seems quite accepting and dismissive of what happened.
Drop the bat. Then the next batter can grab it and bring it back to the dugout or toss/hand it to whoever was in the hole.
If a bat needs to be tossed back towards the dugout, then turn around and toss it- then trot the bases and absorb all the glory of your greatness.
- The kid is at least 12' down the 1B line when he flings his bad back across the batter's box where there is a catcher, an up, and an incoming teammate jogging down the 3B line to score.
- If the bat hadnt drilled the up in the 17ing skull, it would have only gotten like 10' closer to the dugout compared to if he had dropped the bad in the batter's box.
- The kid took 7 steps towards 1B before he let go of the bat and flung it back across home plate.
There is simply 0 legitimate reason for this to happen. Any attempt to explain it away is justifying behavior that is at best unnecessary and at worst, dangerous.

Ironic that the same squad of SPS posters who would vote for actual criminals not to be punished, want this kid thrown under the jail for throwing his bat back towards his own dugout and CLEARLY not seeing that the ump had walked up the line.Y'all are scary. You see stuff that just isn't there.

He is too short to be a former NBA star, so I am guessing he learned the flop from playing soccer. The ump reacted like some people that get into a fender bender in the WalMarts parking lot and roll out the door holding their neck!
Holy damn you really jumped to some conclusions here.Yeah, I know you want the death penalty for going 5 miles over the speed limit.
You realize you can tell a person that their action was bad and they can correct it. People make bad decisions all the time. The kid didn't show happiness that the bat hit the ump. You act as if he saw it and ran over to the ump pounding his chest and celebrating that he skulled the ump. You act as if you know he is a serial bat tosser and has put people in danger before.
As I said your scary. How can you possibly have an opinion with so little evidence and willing to ruin a persons life for an accident?
And I guarantee no one on this board wants to hear anymore from you on this topic.
yeah, but you have a long history of being a D!ckHoly damn you really jumped to some conclusions here.
Yeah, I saw the kid showed shock when it happened.
And what I posted initially is that the kid should sit for a bit and talk with the ump after a few weeks.
So, like sit for the rest of that game and maybe the next, and follow up with the up in a few weeks to check in and talk with him.
Why the 17 do you think I want to see the kid's life be ruined? I didnt say or even suggest the kid was proud of what happened, so I also dont know why you say I am acting like he celebrated hitting the ump in the skull. I also didnt say or even suggest I know anything about the batter, so I have no idea if he has done this before.
- I dont think the kid's life should be ruined.
- I have no idea if the kid has done this before.
- I do think the kid was surprised to see what he did and felt bad.
- I think my initially suggestion of 'sit a bit and talk with the ump in a few weeks' is appropriate because it is not overly punitive and it will hopefully help the kid connect with the ump and move forward.
You really went to town on the assumptions and conclusions with your post.
He is a 17ing Richard…yeah, but you have a long history of being a D!ck

It is a weird world. ....and can be ironic but also contradictory.Weird world.
Who said "bad behavior good"? That is so wrong it's funny. It is a weird world. ....and can be ironic but also contradictory.
So not punishing bad behavior is bad. But in this case, bad behavior good. Hmmmm.
The kid wasn't just innocently tossing his bat back to the dugout. He was pimping his home run ball up the 1B line and put a nice little "keep looking at me" on by throwing his bat up in the air towards his dugout without any regard to anyone else around.
Does he need to be thrown out of baseball? No. However unfortunately this behavior is becoming more and more common and needs to be nipped in the bud.
