I am saying yes. The guy has the potential to be a hell of a player in the league and he and Connely could make for a hell of a backcourt for years to come

All the while Mayo lived it up in LA scoring free floor seats to Laker games, TVs, cash and what not.
Now who's attitude and lifestyle is going to be a problem again?
He comes off the same way you describe Beasley.. probably better. A lot of sportswriters had that opinion of him coming out of high school and after talking to him most changed their tune. Mayo is unselfish, plays the game the right way, he's humble, and he works hard. He may or may not have taken money but I can't say I wouldn't have in his position.cb6228 said:Your and idiot, dubmass. Every interview Michael Beasley gave this year he came off as well-spoken and humble. Never seemed to pat himself on the back.
OJ Mayo is a headcase who would bring a huge entourage of leeches with him to Memphis. I hope the Grizz pass on him.

And, Mayo has been rising on draft boards according to Chad Ford beause as teams look into his potential attitude problems, they're finding nothing but positives.

Edited to add from Beasley's player card from ESPN:
"Negatives: Character issues are the biggest question marks. Has been accused of being immature. Had some off the court issues as a high school player. As far as basketball goes, there's very little to complain about."
Try again.
