I know it's completely different circumstances and you can argue whether or not the penalty is deserved, but it sucks to vacate wins. We all know that feeling, so I can empathize with those fans today.

As an avid college football fan, vacating wins is largely meaningless to me, and was even before the Emmert idiocy wrt PSU and Joe. They do it more or less to embarrass a coach and/or a school, imo. The school should simply asterisk the actual scores of those games and the season results before they actually erase anything, out of respect for the players and staff who were part of the actual wins. Everyone who was part of those teams and games know who won.We got them back, as we should have. I’m sure lsu won’t because they shouldn’t.
