if our charter jet is delayed getting to GTR to pick the team up, or if the plane is unable to leave GTR due to mechanical problems?

Who's head gets chopped off in the athletic department if were to have to forfeit the first game of the year because of a traveling fiasco?

I am still blown away by the fact that we are flying out on the afternoon of the game. Why not just bus to the game?

Hell, last year, we took a bus to Auburn, but we are chartering a flight to Monore so that we can bus over to Ruston? Something does not add up here. Don't give me that crap about Ruston not having a full service hotel.

with the idea of getting "some flight time" for some of the freshmens? I still remember when I made a campus visit prior to attending MSU, about 12 years ago now, and the Roadrunner had the look of death in his eyes when my father and I talked about taking a plane from Dallas to GTR.

Good thing for us Gustav didn't come about 3-4 days earlier. We could have potentially not been able to take off from GTR, or land anywhere near Ruston.
