I remember Connor Shaw's great game (20-21, 2 TDs) against Mizzou in '12, but this was something else.I have seen some spectacular QB performances before, but I have never in my life seen one as unexpected and pleasantly surprising as this one. This was the Spencer Rattler everyone expected when he was the #1 recruit in the country.
This was kind of like Tanneyhill's game at Mississippi State back in the 90s when we scored 60-something. But the situation was entirely different in many ways. For one thing, I don't hate Mississippi State as much as I hate Tennessee.I remember Connor Shaw's great game (20-21, 2 TDs) against Mizzou in '12, but this was something else.![]()
Looks like National Player of the Week numbers to me.And against the (was ranked) #5 team.

Well duh. Hard to be sleep walking when the whole team is jacked up on Ostarine.Tonight Rattler was the QB I hoped hebe when he got here. He played with swag and lived up to the hype. The whole team did.
I am PRAYING that we (the football team) don’t try and sleepwalk through the next game and expect to just get a win. Which is what I think happened against Mizzou. Clemson is on red alert right now - they see it’s possible they can lose the State and block any play off hope they may have. They won’t be asleep at the wheel at any position.
Reminds me of what Steve Taneyhill did to Mississippi St. In 1995. I wonder if Rattler gets any national recognition for this like Taneyhill got with Sports Illustrated after that game. And against the (was ranked) #5 team.

This may do wonders for his confidence and the confidence of the entire team. They deserve to gloat all they want.He was letting the ball fly.
The kid was in a zone. It was a beautiful thing to watch.
We scored more on UT than ANY Sec team in the history of the SEC.This may do wonders for his confidence and the confidence of the entire team. They deserve to gloat all they want.
This is the SR I have been looking for since the first game. To do this to the No. 5 ranked team and we beat them worse than Ga did.
