sloppy spring game "by design"

...nothing to what a team's offense does in the Fall. The unfortunate thing at MSU is that our Spring game is actually foretelling of what's to come in the Fall.</p>

I recall being excited about seeing Pegues and Fitz in their first spring game. They had #1 lined up at WR for some plays. I think he caught one long sideline fly pattern. I had visions of Deion Sanders.

Im pretty sure he laid flat out and it JUST slipped right through his fingers. It was a great looking play though.

Edit: Fitz's family was there wearing home made #1 tee shirts and they were going crazy. They even had me pumped up.

I don't buy that. I think the idea of a spring game open to the public is stupid. That said, it is used by many teams to energize a fanbase for the Fall. If we purposefully looked terrible on offense thus not exciting anyone for the season then we are stupid.
