One of My All Time Favorite Dogs. It still amazes me how poor he did on the bench at the combines considering I've never seen a guy wrap up a receiver the moment the ball was caught bettern Smoot. It makes me sick to see safety and corner folks whiff when they got such an advantage cuz the receiver is concentrating on the catch. Worked with a guy in Jackson who previously was an assistant at Hinds when Smoot was there who told me they would do cross country runs and Smoot would always win while shouting "You can't hurt me Coach!!" Got to briefly meet Smoot twice one of which was at an official STATE gathering and the other involved a more casual scene where the weed smell was prevalent. LOL
