Sounds like Kevin Warren signed some checks his аss couldn't cash.

Some highlights:
1. Fox is due about $40 million because the Big Ten sold the Championship Game to NBC, even though Fox technically owned the rights as part of the Big Ten network.
2. Big Ten traditionally don't play night games after the first November weekend. This will cost the Big Ten about $5 million per school per year in the NBC primetime contract since they were counting on teams like Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State to fill that void.
3. The Big Ten owes Fox $25 million for the games that weren't played as part of the 2020 season.

Sheesh, do modern day accountants and law firms representing athletic conferences even bother to read the fine print anymore?
