Everything I've read on the subject suggests it won't be this year. GB has some more pressing concerns, and says that he'd rather "do it right", than pull a Boone and get something on the fly.

in this case. The Rebs will have a fantastic board prior to kick-off for the Memphis game. Will also be the second largest board in the country after Texas. And by the way, NAFOOM had nothing to do with the re-bid. The variation in the original bid prices was the reason for the re-bid. Current bid prices of the five companies have four that averages right at 6 Mil and a fifth that goes about 6.4 Mil.

MSU is changing marketing companies. I'd be shocked if they are willing to put up $7 million or more upfront for just football.

Of course, maybe your new AD has something else in the works.

When Greg spoke at the RH clubhouse on Lakeland a few weeks ago he stated that he wanted to move the new HD screen either on top of the M club building or in front of. He was talking about how it would be difficult to put structural steel members to support it on top. He says a big complaint about the current one is that its always in the sun? From what he said, it sounded like he was gonna take his time and find us something "to be proud of"

We ain't got no 7 million. I have offered $100,000 over 5 years to start the project and he advised that we "hold up for now". Not going to happen this year and next year don't look so good either...O well!

I recommend that the Six Pack immediately give him 10% more than they are paying him now. Retro to the day OM decided to rebid.

There could be support constructed similar to what Arkansas did. The Seal building and Broyles Center are about the same width. However, the screen does seem set back abit at UPig Stadium.

Arkansas'

Also, that video board is about 10 years old now. So, I imagine the new ones are bigger.

But I bet we never get one as nice as Texas, Auburn, etc. So, in the meantime, can we at least get a ribbon board with the down and distance. I mean damn... a SEC stadium without a visible scoreboard with down and distance.

Templeton told Byrne to call Pete and see what kind of deal we can get, but Pete wasnt home. He is at the SEC Tournament again and we are at home. This sucks. I hope Ole Miss loses two Saturday and they run Bianco off.

that he let the powers that be at the company that he works for know that the time was ripe to talk to State about installing a new JumboTron, sound system and ribbon boards. He passed the word along, so we'll see what happens. On the downside, it's the same company that put on the Liberty Bowl halftime show...
