When you decide to part ways with key employees, part ways
Are they really a key employee if it is decided that their services are no longer needed?

And it’s not like the guy is going to spend his last couple of weeks stockpiling trade secrets. I mean there are only so many inbounds plays you can draw up.

The weird thing is they didn’t even have a bad year. They were 21-14 and finished upper half of a league where the top 5-6 teams were all between 24-10 and 21-14. Last year they were 17-16. Year before was 20-13. Year before was COVID.

I don’t think LBSU is big time enough to be shítcanning former Elite 8 coaches who also have power conference head coaching experience after a 20-win season. But I guess they think thats where they are at.

He's been there for 17 seasons and this is his 3rd best season. Why fire him now?

Probably didn’t call a booster on his birthday or listen when the other booster kept yelling, “analytics say to play my boy”
