He definitely comes across as a little punk. Even looking at his background on his youtube "show" - is he in his first year of college? You can tell he barely scrapes by and was probably serious that he was looking to get assaulted to get money.

Thanks Mrs Kinlaw, nobody ever said anything about money… I see what’s important to you. What’s important to me is watching people that played for my university do life well. Disappointed with how kinlaw responded. Idk what the guy said originally but this issue shouldn’t be handled in a public forum. If he critiqued Javons game, that’s too bad that Javon can’t take criticism. Shows a lot about the staff he was under here. While Kinlaw is very talented and did a lot to change his body to get ready to play here, he underwhelmed a lot. He took plays off, and when he didn’t he was hard to handle. But if you’re a professional athlete you have to be above this type of behavior in terms of someone critiquing your play. Now if the guy attacked Javons character or person, he’s fair game.
Forget all that. When our founding fathers put freedom of the press into the Constitution, they weren't considering amateur, wannabe journalists who "report" on games. There is NOTHING sacred about sports journalism. These folks serve no useful function. They aren't doing an important job to keep Congress, a presidential administration or other elected officials honest. It's sports. They write articles about sports.

My whole point is it didn’t need to get to violence. He smacked the hat off a credentialed member of the media. I’m not here to argue whether the media guy is a jerk, most of them are.
And he did talk to javon face to face. Then javon could have talked to him like a normal person. Javon chose not to and it could have gone waaay wrong real fast.
