So this week the NFL referees will call interference with a fair catch on a punt.

I never heard what their explanation was for last week when they let 2 players run into the guy who was calling fair catch and prevented him from catching the ball.

I think the ruling was his own player collided with him so no interference. Never mind that his player was blocked into him. The call was bull****.

If the defensive player instigated the contact, then it should be his fault it's one of those little gray areas of football. They love to play with every now and again. It's not as important as sending out fines for people doing a backflip after they scored a touchdown.
