Not knowing the tie breaking scenarios to make the tourny these 3 things would for sure do it,

1 We sweep. 11-19 = 0.366
2 Georgia loses at least 1 but doesn't win any 10-18 = 0.357 (goes 0-1, 0-2, or 0-3)
2 Missouri loses at least 1 but doesn't win any 10-18 = 0.357 (goes 0-1, 0-2, or 0-3)

If Georgia or Missouri had next weekend rained out, they still finish ahead 10-17 0.370
IF we sweep and IF G or M win 1, they have to loose 2 for us to be in a 3 way tie.

I think take one more than Missouri. I looked last week & I think we have the tiebreaker on them.

We lose tiebreaker with Mizzou because they are 1-2 vs Vandy and we are 0-3. If SC finishes ahead of Vandy, we win tiebreaker 1-2 vs 0-3. If we tie with UGa, we lose because we are 0-3 vs Ark and they are 3-0. However is LSU sweeps UGa and Vandy beats Ark 2 of 3, LSU moves ahead of Ark and would be highest seeded common opponent and we go.

We go if we win 2 of 3, LSU sweeps at UGa, and Vandy beats Ark 2 out of 3 in Nashville. LSU would be common opponent with UGa. Very realistic

Another path. Win 2 of 3. Aub sweep Mizzou. SC surpasses Vandy by winning 2 more games vs UT than Vandy does vs Ark. SC would be common opponent and we are 1-2 vs them and Mizzou is 0-3.

From SEC
The two division champions shall be automatically seeded number one and number two based on winning percentage in conference competition. The rest shall be seeded numbers three through 12 based on winning percentage without regard to division.

Ties will be broken in the following manner:

1. Two-Team Tie. The following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is broken:

A. Won-lost results of head-to-head competition between the two tied teams.

B. If two-teams are divisional opponents:
(1) Won-lost percentage within their division (over the 18-game SEC division schedule).
(2) Won-lost percentage of the two teams versus the No. 1 team in their division (and proceeding through the No. 7 team, if necessary).

C. If two teams are not divisional opponents:
(1) Won-lost record of the two teams versus the No. 1 seed using common opponents only (and proceeding through the No. 12 seed, if necessary).
(2) Coin flip by the Commissioner

2. Three-Team Tie (or more). The following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is broken: (Note: If the three tied teams have three different records against each other, they shall be seeded in best-percentage order.) Otherwise, once the tie has been reduced to two teams, the two-team tiebreaker procedure will be used.

A. If all three teams are common opponents: Total won-lost percentage of games played among the tied teams.

B. Won-lost percentage of the tied teams versus the No. 1 seed and proceeding through the No. 12 seed, if necessary, using common opponents only.

C. If three or more teams still are tied, the Commissioner will conduct a draw.

Auburn has the tie breaker over us. I guess if Auburn gets swept and we sweep we finish ahead of them or we need Missouri to lose two and we sweep, or we win two and Missouri lose three. I think.

Can we make the ncaa tournament if we don’t make sec tournament?

Not with only 10 or 11 SEC wins.

Yeah, everything about our Hoover scenarios are complicated, so for now just take it one day at a time. On Thursday we want the following to happen:

MSU beats A&M
Auburn beats Mizzou
LSU beats Georgia
Vandy beats Arkansas

And then we’ll go from there depending on how Thursday goes

I think our hopes are better with LSU beating GA at this point but who knows maybe Auburn keeps rolling and we go with that scenario. Bottom line we obviously need to win 1st
