……or at least a VERY competitive loss. Nobody wants to talk about this, because I think most want to hold onto hope. But if we can’t motivate this team to get up for this, vs a beat down dejected team on our field, then we have real problems. The same problems me and a select few others been telling everyone about since we noticed them very early in the Lenny Error.

The staff has to give us something this year. Anything. This game is teed up for him. Wounded team, dejected from being eliminated from playoffs, second road game in a row. Have to make it happen.

I thought the same thing vs. Ark

Concur though, if Levee can't keep this a game until deep in the 4th, we need to worry if he's the right man.

We ain’t winning this game. Missouri is a very good team and we’re not. Next year you can call games “ A must win” but this year is already in the books. Us fans are just along for a very bumpy ride.
He did post we need to be "competitive." Like we were against TAMU and UGA, we don't need to lay an egg like we did against Ark, ASU and Holy Toledo.

Nobody wants to talk Mississippi State football period. Hell, OOF talked about women's basketball as much as the football game Saturday.

Move over USM.... you'll have company soon.

Both viewpoints are true. We need to give a good showing. Winning would be awesome. Improbable tho because Mizzou is a good team and will probly look at us as a good team to take out their frustration on. We need to look competent because we have a bunch of croots coming to the game.

They better not lay down and get beat by 40. They better be competitive. I expect a loss, but I don't expect a blowout.

Does that mean somebody in Vegas thinks we can play defense for four quarters? I've been watching this bunch all season, and I've been watching Missouri all season. I don't see it happening. I wish I did, but I have no illusions about this year's team and coaching staff.

Does a win or loss really change anyone’s opinion of lebby? If lebby wins, are you suddenly going to think maybe he’s the right guy? People that have hope in lebby aren’t likely to lose it based on a loss to Missouri.

Im not criticizing your take on Lebby being the wrong guy. Certainly seems reasonable given where we are right now. I just don’t think the results really matter in changing any fans opinion anyway.

If we wins, l’ll harbor the possibility that he can be successful here, so, to answer your question….yes.

Our head coach has done a decent job at times with our offense and play-calling for most of the game. However, I have seen some really head-scratching defensive calls, so it's hard for me to get excited anymore.

I like what I’ve seen from the offense at times. I like the QB. But I don’t care if we win the last 2 games, if we don’t replace essentially the whole defensive staff, I’m out on Lebby.

I wouldn’t really call myself in on him now… more of I know we can’t make a change at HC. Very croomish feeling for me.

This season is over. We’re not winning Saturday or next Friday. The tale on Lebby will be told in his assistant coach firings & hirings & his portal recruiting this off-season. I’m not optimistic, but we’ll see. And yes, if we win one of these last two games, my opinion will change.

Who gives a 17, it's soccer season and we have a huge weekend we should be preparing for.

Looking at Arkansas portal class and ours, its no comparison.

don’t worry though, we’re hitting the juco ranks heavy. They’ve got Petrino working the portal. I know where this is going.

I studied Mizzou’s roster very closely and concluded they do, indeed, have an offense.

We are 17ed.

One of the possible take aways from this game will be the performance of the defense. Bobby Petrino absolutely worked Hutzler and staff. If Drinkiwitz and a injured Cook come in here and put up 60 points......Lebby will have no choice on Hutzler.

Also, Lebby's offense better have a pulse to start the game. ....not just in garbage time.

We are getting 2 field goals the last 2 games on the year. Want them to be in this game or the next?
