So, you've got a son that is 14 and is pretty damn good at golf. ...

That area seems like a nice place to live. Especially if you're into golf.

I think Mullen could do good there. Others will obviously come open but between Arizona state and Nebraska, I know I’d definitely choose Arizona State.

Matt Rhule will also likely be looking to get back to a college job soon too.

If I were him, I'd take that job. Get paid, easier competition. They'll still be in a semi-decent conference, even if it's the Pac-10 again. If B1G raids, then they'll be in some variation of the Pac-8/Big-12. It's not like recrootin is his strong suit anyway, he's just gonna do the instate thing in AZ like he did in MS, they have 26 prospects there compared to our 31 in the Sip. After that he'll just fly to LA or Dallas/Houston and get some leftovers.

Coaches' shelf live is like 10 years so who really cares what conference they are in come 2032.

Maybe I’m different, but if I was already a multi millionaire and still getting paid I would ride off into the sunset counting my money.

Hes at georgia tech

Which means he's going to be job-hunting again after this season; Collins is a dead man walking unless they turn it around very soon, which isn't likely given they're about to start ACC play.

There's an opening in Tempe. Interested?

Never let him play football... no matter what. You can let him play some baseball when it's really too hot to play golf but I don't even know that I would waste time with that.

Now that he's broadcasting I'd be surprised if Mullen goes back on the sideline any time soon.

Hopefully he'll be better received by the crowd in Starkville when the Sun Devils play here in 2025 than he was in 2018. He deserves a standing o.
