Don't have Fox Soccer Channel at work, so I am following along as best I can on the matchtracker on USSoccer.com

Looks like we are up 2-0... goal by Onyewu. Two goals, both scored by defenders. not sure what that's all about, but I'll take 'em.

bocanegra's goal was off a free kick and onyewu was a corner.
donovan should have had one on a break away but missed it wide.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I read a description of them.

US wins 3-0 on goals from Bocanegra, Onyewu and a free kick from Lewis. While Poland isn't Germany or Spain or Italy, they were ranked four spots ahead of us in the [sarcasm] always reliable [/sarcasm] FIFA world rankings. Plus, another W in Europe doesn't hurt.

Next up, I believe is a game against England at Wembley in May. Should be a good one.

I had forgotten about the match but was able to TIVO the replay and watch late last night. Despite the early goal, I wasn't that impressed with the 20 minutes or so. But as the game went on, the U.S. played better and better. It could have been worse than the 3-0 blowout score. Great win for the U.S. As much crap as I give him, Donovan did a great job on the 2 set pieces. I was really impressed with Josh Wolff and Eddie Lewis when they were subbed into the game in the second half. Lewis's goal on the free kick was a thing of beauty. As for the new uniforms, I liked them.

is that the first time we've ever won consecutive games on European soil?

The match with England is going to be fun. What if we won? Bloody hell.

i didn't really like the uniforms that much. i'd rather them stick with the white or blue.

They're the first ones in a while I've actually liked.

Remember these?

Those were from 94 which is the first World Cup I remember watching on TV. In my eyes, those are classic. I'd love to see them bring those back for a game sometime.</p>

those are horrid. Very 90's. Too much going on with those.

I really liked the ones from last night. Pretty sharp. More of a classic look. If we keep playing like that, though, they can wear whatever the hell they want.
