Early game today.

The US faces Jamaica this afternoon without Miles Robinson (red card against Mexico) and Weston McKennie (yellow card accumulation) while Jamaica has Antonio and Bailey playing. Pulisic will likely play a bit more. I wouldn’t be surprised at a US win but not at a draw either.

Canada hosts Mexico in Edmonton. It snowed yesterday and this morning and the high today is expected to be 25 degrees. Ouch. A draw might be the most likely scenario.

Panama hosts El Salvador. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Panama win and create more pressure for the teams fighting for top 3 spots.

Costa Rica hosts Honduras. The Ticos need a win to have a chance at the fourth position. And Honduras has not won a match so far. This is a must win for Costa Rica.

Gah. I needed another cup of coffee. I didn't notice the volume was on the screenshot I took of the standings.

I appreciate the heads up as I wasn't tracking this game. It was sweet watching us beat Mexico Friday night. This team has alot of fire and plays with passion. That is something the recent teams of the past liked.

Would not want to be playing or attending that Canada game.

We just need to not get a loss tonight

Halftime: 1 - 1.

Weah scores in the 11th minute. Antonio answers in the 22nd.

Well we come out of it with a 1:1 tie so that’s ok. Would have preferred the win but at least we get a point.

Yeah. I’m ok with a point. Knew this would be a tough match. Antonio is a beast.

Talk about one hell of a home field advantage, hosting Mexico and Costa Rica in Edmonton in November.

Looks to be genius so far as they lead El Tri 1-0 at half.

Have they announced the site for the Canada/US match in Jan?

Canada wins 2-1.

This celebration after the second goal is awesome. And calling Edmonton’s Commonwealth Estadio Iceteca? Very good.

Tight.

Canada leads. But…

Next matches are in January—

Canada is at Honduras and hosts the USMNT (at BC Place in Vancouver)
United States also hosts El Salvador TBD (maybe in Utah or Colorado?)
Mexico is at Jamaica and hosts (with no fans) Costa Rica
Costa Rica also hosts Panama
Panama also hosts Jamaica
Honduras also hosts El Salvador

Yep need Costa Rica or Jamaica to give Panama a loss. Then if we can beat El Salvador and at least find our way to a draw with Canada and we should be in good shape

17ing Honduras gave up 3 goals to them in the last 15 minutes to blow a 2-0 lead Friday. Thanks for nothing. Of course, the USA shouldn't need help from anyone to finish top 3, but still.
