Great time for 3rd and 4th string players to get practice reps and a few freebies from the lower tier bowl. Congrats to any program that can fill 1/2 of the stadium at these meaningless bowl games.

The NY6 is fully integrated into the playoffs. They’re now the quarter and semifinals. There were 12 teams in the NY6 and there are 12 teams in the playoff, so not really.
Ole Misses pile was 4-5 times larger this past season, but probably only twice as large next season.
Yeah kind of wonder how how Rebs feel on the return on investment. I know I don't feel like ours is worth a dang for 2-10, but I know they put up a lot more. One of the reasons I'm kind of anti war chest nil era. They put up how much dnd still didn't make the play offs and play in the gator bowl? What's the point. In the sec we got two teams in the play offs. Spent a lot of money to go 2-10 next season we give more and more and still probably don't make the playoffs imand finish top half of the sec. It's all very stupid. We'd be better off in big 12 or big 10 than the sec. Get beat up spend a lot and still not make the playoffs
I’ve said since this mess started that the only way we can compete is to look at mlb teams that go thru rebuilds. Everyone can’t pretend they have money like the dodgers & yankees. Thats what ole miss is doing. They won’t be able to keep it up.
Teams like us are gonna have to have some throw away seasons whether we like it or not, where we save money for the future. Someone needs to have a real strategy rather than just blowing thru cash every year.
The SEC got screwed on the bowls by this playoff. If I were the bowls I would have an extra early game and call it Dallas bowl or something instead of Cotton and play 8 days earlier. Now you will have Boise playing Clemson or something in these bowls and the draw is going to be bad. Ole Miss should have played in a better bowl. State will be relegated to the Independence, Liberty, Birmingham instead of a step up on the bowl.
