Not to rain on anyone‘s parade but Apple doesn’t dictate which emoji get chosen. There is a Unicode consortium that decides new emoji. This one is often used to represent someone having a food baby or eatting too much. https://blog.emojipedia.org/why-is-there-a-pregnant-man-emoji/

Thanks. I read an article attributing the emoji to Apple, as they had recently introduced it. The article said nothing about Unicode or other platforms adopting it ( ).

Thanks. I read an article attributing the emoji to Apple, as they had recently introduced it. The article said nothing about Unicode or other platforms adopting it ( ).

I did just text the pregnant man emoji to gf, who has an android, and she was not able to see it.
So it seems apple was first to update their emojis
