Cadillac Williams resigned from Freeze's staff. Notably, former Auburn QB Ashford wanted Williams to get the head coach gig instead of Freeze. Ashford was scheduled to visit campus today.

Rumors of some university investigations going on there. They had another coach resign as well. Might want to sit this one out.
Yeah, I read that, but it seems like a lot typical Auburn stuff rumor mill stuff. Some believe it was just stuff planted because Freeze just wanted Cadillac gone.
We are talking about Freeze here. It's not like his moral compass points due north.
Looking at their forums, Auburn fans seem about 50/50...with some being devastated by the move and others thinking it's a good time to part ways and let him save face based on rumors.
lol. Like I said a few days ago, NOBODY has any clue what is going to happen when Shane Beamer needs to make a coaching change. The first time we hear the name Marquel Blackwell is the report that he's going to be hired. We hire A&M's TE coach (out of the blue) while we still have a TE coach. Our TE coach leaves, and we assume Coley just moves into that role. Nope, Coley is the WR coach. But we have a WR coach. We'll, his contract ended 12/31/23 and he'll either coach TEs or.....
Hot damn. I'll check back on the coaching staff when fall camp starts. lol
