I believe you evaluate coaches body of work over an entire season, not a game or two.Does the performance last night change anyone's perception of Satterfield as OC going forward into next season? It was arguably our best offensive performance of all-time.
Or, it might be what happened in this game and the ones going forward.I believe you evaluate coaches body of work over an entire season, not a game or two.
Without an experienced sec tailback! Pretty sporty!Does the performance last night change anyone's perception of Satterfield as OC going forward into next season? It was arguably our best offensive performance of all-time.
That's possible. If what someone posted last week is true that Satterfield was one of only 2 coaches not to get a raise and contract extension last year, last seasons bowl game plus last season's Florida game did not make Satterfield's case.Or, it might be what happened in this game and the ones going forward.

You probably weren't even born yet but, as a student, I was at the Carolina-Clemson game in 1975 when we beat them 56-20. What an offensive performance that was with Jeff Grantz. Man, how I'd love to put 56 on them again this Saturday. The sight of some Clemson fans sitting below me in the stands shaking their heads was a sight to behold that day.Does the performance last night change anyone's perception of Satterfield as OC going forward into next season? He wasn't matching wits with Heupel, DA.The best part was how Satterfield completely *****-slapped Heupel last night.
EPIC.

Everyone knows this. This is just continued crying because his fast success at UT was compared to Beamer's (and satterfields) lesser success.
They are really down on Martinez, the secondary coach, who was already fired from there a few years back when, I believe, Butch Jones was coach. I don't see why Heupel hired him back to the same school and now I don't see how he can survive.Actually, UT fans are down on their DC Tim Banks, based on what I read this morning, complaining how he let one of the worst offenses in the SEC, their assessment, put a beat down on him. I would not be surprised to see Banks out at the end of the season.
One game does not make up for a season of mediocre performance. If you throw out the FL game you might as well throw out all the other losses and say we are undefeated. Many of our wins were won with special teams and defensive scoring. Many a mediocre salesman had one big sale and still lost his job due to under performance and inconsistency and, as a rule, the same applies to the coaching business. Judging Satterfield's performance this year based on one game is staring at the shiny object and missing the big picture. If you asked me before the game I was thinking the football program should part ways with Satt at the end of the season. Because the offense was just scoreless against FL. And it’s been a little stale all season. Right?!
But after the TN game……. I’m starting to think that at the end of the season that USC should beg him to stay and offer a raise. Keep the offense clicking like that and me personally, I’ll forget about not scoring in that petty little Florida game. I’ll go from his #1 hater to his #1 fan. There was such a drastic difference. I am wondering if someone else sorta stepped up in Satts place? Maybe he had Spurrier in his earpiece.
I guess let’s just see how the next two games go. Clemson and the Bowl.
Like I said, just more crying from the resident hissy fit thrower.Satterfield destroyed Heupel. Sorry your vjay is so sandy over it.
No. It was an amazing gameplan that caught Tenn off guard. He earned his money Saturday. However, the previous 10 saturdays his offense was garbage and predictable. And now that clem knows what's possible, I'd imagine Satterfield's new wrinkle will be as easily read as his old stuff. He's just not good.
That said, Joyner is the dude. He adds everytime he's on the field. He should play every offensive down at QB, RB or WR.
Whoever said it was in jeopardy? Bunch of crybaby, whiners, haters & complainers. 7 win season in SEC & going to bowl games doesn’t get you fired. If anything it gets you a raise & contract extension. Shows how non knowledgeable fans are about a sport they probably never played & damn sure never coachedDoes the performance last night change anyone's perception of Satterfield as OC going forward into next season? Like I posted in the other thread, look up what happened to Kurt Roper in 2017 after we won 8 regular season games and then determine who are the “non-knowledgeable” ones.Whoever said it was in jeopardy? It would get Saban and Smart fired...will get Jimbo and Napier axed, too.Whoever said it was in jeopardy? And (using your same analytical approach) Napier totally destroyed Satterfield....but you couldn't accept that either.Satterfield destroyed Heupel. Sorry your vjay is so sandy over it.

I’m a 1970 grad and was at that game. What Jeff Grantz did to them was fantastic. 9 offensive possessions and 9 touchdowns. A dirty shame the last one didn’t count due to an offensive pass interference call. Both our receiver and the Clemson DB we’re using their hands and the call could’ve gone either way. Like during our 5 straight stretch, the Clemson people were not happy campers. I loved it!You probably weren't even born yet but, as a student, I was at the Carolina-Clemson game in 1975 when we beat them 56-20. What an offensive performance that was with Jeff Grantz. Played three sports & lettered in high school & played one year in college (left & right shoulder dislocations/one in HS & other in college) cut short my football career. It would get Saban and Smart fired...will get Jimbo and Napier axed, too.
Seems like you didn't play or coach.
You, sir, are a rock star. Since you referenced coaching, where did you coach?Played three sports & lettered in high school & played one year in college (left & right shoulder dislocations/one in HS & other in college) cut short my football career.
Never coached but alumnus of Carolina, so I’m smart enough to keep my opinions to myself. Especially dumb one. You, sir, are a rock star. Since you referenced coaching, where did you coach?
