Not much game chatter going on. Folks feeling pretty good? Not so sure? Don't really know much about Oregon so not sure how to feel?
I'd put myself in the last category. I don't love that we aren't playing our best basketball. For the last month, we've mostly just been keeping our heads above water. We looked pretty sharp against Arkansas but got trounced again and shot horribly against Auburn, so really no idea what to expect today.
Whether it was intentional or not, the committee seeded a few of the 11 seeds a bit low, and Oregon falls in there, so I expect this will be more of a tussle than we want as a 6-seed.
It's hard to say we need to win the game, given the preseason predictions, but I do feel like we need a win to validate the season. Otherwise, an early exit, I think, makes us look like more of a team who overachieved a bit and got lucky in a couple big games. Not saying that is accurate.
