Did Missouri beat arkansas?

Someone told me that Arkansas and their portal haul was going to be the difference maker this year.. and that mizzou was no good?

Did anyone get the final score of that game for me?

58-25 Arkansas, oh you mean the road game against Missouri. Arkansas bowl game should be announced pretty soon, might want to catch it.

You also said the SEC would be GUARANTEED 4 teams in the playoffs. How's that working out for you?

it'll happen. Watch come Tuesday... Alabama or South Carolina will be the 4th. Even in the midst of chaos. The sec will get 4.

Yeah.. you know the game that you said Arkansas would win and that mizzou sucked... that one.

6-6. That portal haul was something. 2 game improvement from last season.

So much for Arkansas's great season. Basically exact same team they were last year, they won a few of the close games this year.

ok? That wasnt the arugment and never was.

You said arkansas re-invented themselfs in the portal and we shoudl model oursevles after them. Arkansas basically had the exact same year as the year before. The year before they went like 0-5 in 1 score games... and won 4 games.. this year they won 6.

Arkansas's model isnt anything we should model after....

and you also stated that missouri sucked and predicted Arkansas wins against them and Ole Miss... that prediction went like the rest of your predictions... no shocking at all

we changed staffs. They didnt.

arkansas is what arkansas has been... very average... their portal haul did nothing to change that.

Kind of a stupid argument either way. We are trying to find a way to win 10 games, or 9 games with chaos, every 4 years. Nothing that we, Arkansas or Vanderbilt is currently doing will make that a reality for any of us.

Not sure who will get in and who won’t. Or who deserves to but the committee/college football needs to come up with concrete rules on who gets in and don’t make this subject to people’s opinions. Very similar to how the NFL does it. And I know it’s not an apples to apples comparison between the nfl and ncaa but it’s close enough.

NCAA just needs to decide how many they want from each conference and let the conference standings settle who gets in (let tie breaker rules for each conference settle it). If the right number is 4 sec and 4 big 10 teams get in then 1-4 in standings get in and it’s settled. There will certainly be years where it’s not “fair” but it happens and at least the rules were clearly laid out in advance.

What is clear is that Missouri got worse as the season went on. Not that the A&M beat down in week 5 was a proud moment.

The loss to South Carolina answered what everyone knew - just another meaningless season for another mid SEC team. With a total tool job for a coach.

It appears his life is being wrong on the internet and he’s really good at it.

Guess what they say is true. People love stuff they are good at.

Not a whole lot of reason to play anyone OOC in that scenario. The NFL counts all games towards the record, not just the division or whatever.

I guess you could play a 12-game conference schedule maybe, and actually figure out who the real champs are, not just the ones who got lucky with easier schedules.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. There would definitely be some oddness to it due to the schedule. I just hate the subjective nature of deciding who gets in.

In past years, it would not have mattered who the 12th team was because ultimately the top 3 or 4 were going to be the eventual champion. But with so much parity in college football this year (and hopefully going forward), the 12th team in could legitimately win the title. I just hate the thought that bama or Clemson (or someone like that) may get that 12th spot because they are a blue blood and it’s a subjective process. I’d much rather it be known the criteria to get in ahead of time.

But you’re right, it may be virtually impossible for that to work in the college game.
