My Sister never prepared a story that could be seen, read or heard by anyone. And now, she has left her life behind.
As I will always feel that someone - no, everyone who has been here should be recognized. I hope you will allow me a short note,
as an obit, as I try to write about a sister as part of a family, and leave memories of our pasts to the passage of time.
Mrs. Linda Roegge of Prescott, AZ (originally of Abington, PA) left her life in this World this past Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
(1944 -2024) She served admirably for United Airlines from Chicago, IL flying around the World putting up with many passengers.
My sister was able to visit so many places over years of flying, that many of us would love to see. Her favorite time was spent
telling us that she was able to escape the eastern US and love the west as a resident for many years.
She was preceded in Death by her husband Tom just two weeks prior after 54 years of wedded bliss. She wanted to be with Him.
She is survived by her older brother - Ronald of Naples, FL and his family.
May my Sister - Rest in Peace.
'The Door That Never Closes
There’s a door that never closes, though it opens but one way –
It’s the door that leads to Heaven at the end of life’s long day.
It’s the threshold of forever where the heart is always glad,
It’s a respite for the weary, and a comfort for the sad.
It’s the door to peace and healing, and the door to joy and grace
Where the Master greets each guest by name, and with a warm embrace.
And the loved ones who pass through into the light that’s shining there
Find a sweet and perfect home within our Father’s loving care.'
Thank You ......
