I sure hope so or Rattler is going to need every cent of those NIL deals to pay his hospital bills.

I suspect that improved QB play will contribute a good bit to cleaning up the protection issues.

John elway could not be productive behind our line.
At least you were somewhat original in not using Peyton Manning.

We had protection issues but anyone could see that it was greatly exacerbated by poor QB play. Our own QBs attested to that.

With a healthy and fully dedicated O-Line coach returning along with the entire O-line, we should hopefully see significant improvement. Obviously Rattler being mobile and efficient will help cover problems as well.

I don't remember the O line giving up sacks so much when Connor Shaw was the quarterback because he would pull it down and was a threat to run.

Connor had instinct and would commit to his instincts before things would break down.

Seriously. A QB struggling to make the right read or find a receiver is a lot more likely to get hurried or sacked. And one of our QBs last year might have worn concrete boots as slow as he was. Likewise, defenses knew they could load the box to snuff out the run, too. All of this should improve. And that will make the line look better, too.

Of course, after the first sack of the season, this message board will explode. But we shall see.

Gawd, why drag Phil Petty into this.
