South Carolina fans, trust Shane Beamer's process. He's earned that

What other option do we have? We need Beamer to come through and the best thing we can do is be supportive. Maybe equally as key as the OC hire is how Beamer navigates the NIL and Portal. College Football is changing. I think we got the right guy with enough energy and drive to keep up and hopefully stay ahead of the changes. It’ll be interesting to see what happens in Pickens County in about 5 years. Maybe he’ll adapt, but it’s sounded like he’s fought it for some time now.

Article bout sums it up. We may have the only fan base in the country that tries so hard to work against the school and coaches under the guise of being fans. But I guess sitting behind a keyboard, and some of them may actually contribute $50 a year to SC, makes them experts on something.

Never heard such whining about a coach who is trending upward after bringing us back into the top twenty and finally beating the taters. The players in the portal are replaceable. The two recruits are replaceable. Get over your obsession to point fingers and complain about something On Beamer or Tanner. Your lives must be miserable so you need to whine. I hope our offense sets records next year and the new OC tells you all to shove it up your arse and leaves for a new gig. Maybe that will shut you whining “ realists” up.

Let the games begin. Merry Christmas.

I agree about Beamer being the right guy. He is young and, like you said, energetic. He seems to be to be that A-type personality without the ego, driven, thriving on the pressure. Hands-on type of leadership.

He could have handled his presser way better than he did and hopefully he will learn from it. There is no need to call out people (fans) for challenging your OC hire. Wins and losses will take care of that.

I personally loved the way he handled the presser. Some of our fans deserve to be called out. He’s turned a 2 win team into a possible 9 win team within two years while beating high ranked opponents along the way. And yet our fans still bring a toxic aura sometimes. Time for him to nip that in the bud. It really can be used against us on the recruiting trail. Hell Kinlaw and Deebo called out our fans just two years ago…terrible look.

We don’t need to be all sunshine and butterflies, but we also don’t need to constantly complain and it’s time to give Beamer the trust he’s earned right now. He said what a lot of us want to tell some of our own fanbase at the moment…just shut up right now.

I'd guess that half of the online complaining is done by fans of other teams, particularly a school that is roughly 100 miles to the northwest. It's not hard to create an online perception that is false.

They're busy complaining about losing 2 games in one season.
