Only if it helps your team. Suppose your team is tied with Auburn for first place and Auburn is playing Vandy. You want to cheer for Vandy obviously. This was a basketball scenario because we all know we wouldn't be tied for first in football.
Of course it is.....but the motive should be hatred instead of love. I cheer for whoever OM is playing just as hard as I cheer for State.
