What kind of math are they using to come up with those rankings?
Just looking at the top 10 I see all kind of wackiness.

Compare UGA's 18 commits to Ohio St's 19, or Clemson's 18. Yet UGA is #3 but OSU and Clemson are ranked lower ???
And How is Miami #6?

Some good additions to our lines of scrimmage. Next year's class (2024), we're in good standing with two more in-state OL prospects who are in the top 2-3 in the state - Kam Pringle and Josiah Thompson, who are both universally 4*-rated OL prospects - who USC is favored to getting both. If Beamer's crew get those two, our OL at least should be in good standing moving forward.....

I guess you gotta break it down per prospect - if a team has more 4*s, but they are all lower 4* that barely make that rating, while another tewam has fewer 4*s, but most of them are higher 4* that are just below being 5* rated, then the team with fewer 4* could be rated higher overall than the team with more 4*.

That may mean that as we get later in the class ratings, we may see a number of those lower 4*s drop down into being high 3*s, while the team with higher 4* prospects hold the line....
