ESPN has to be very pleased with the finals on the WBB championship. Best ratings in 18 years. They got a great match-up on paper. Too bad we took that paper and wiped UCONN up off the floor with it!
The woman's game was also competing with the Grammy's as well too, so not too bad. It's just unfortunate that this was probably the least competitive Final Four since 2016. In the past 6 years you were guaranteed at least a buzzer beater or two, but I guess we were too dominant to let that happen this year.

Yeah, not buying that either.
It's good the ratings were up, but I actually expected to see a much sharper increase in ratings, given all the fuss that was made last year over the disparity between the men's and women's tournaments and the NCAA deciding to push the women's tournament much more.
Sorry, I misread the post. Doesn't take into account network games, only ESPN broadcast. So maybe it's accurate.
I just get weary of the need some people feel to keep propping up the women's game.

WTF are you talking about? You obviously are too slow to realize I'm disagreeing with the guy who is badmouthing women's basketball by claiming that he's tired of people propping it up as if it's not worthy of people being fans of it and having to make excuses for it.
