and everyone thought the no huddle spread would probably rack up more yards through the air...What do we have to do to get yards like that? I know the answer, but it doesn't matter b/c it won't happen Ugh

I'm reserving judgement until this weekend as how they fare against Auburn will tell us alot.

because playing Auburn close proves nothing to anyone that has paid attention to USM. They did that for the whole Bower era.

I don't see it happening.

AU pulls away in the 4th to win it, 30-17

I think it's the 11:30 game.

If they put up 300 plus total yards in competitive situation I'll be quite impressed with Fedora. An 80 yard drive down 42-17 at the end of the game doesn't count for me. But if they're able to move the ball consistently I'll be impressed and my opinion of Croom and his offense will probably hit about rock bottom.

Well, the first thing would be to follow USM's example and schedule a crappy team from Louisiana instead of a mid-major powerhouse. Then we'd kneel the ball on the 10 yard line every time we got it, and give Dixon 5 carries. Pretty simple.

Fedora next MSU coach?? Seems he understands the concepts of rushing the ball with good running backs.
