Please use this for discussing all matches involving PSUers, or any matches of interest involving non-PSUers, for Day 1 competition.

PBP: I'm pretty much out for the Scuffle. Between the Outback Bowl, and a few other things on my schedule, I won't be able to provide any PBP. Hopefully some of you will be able to post that info.

Joe Lee on mat 2 early TD on Hurst Chattanooga quick escape. Another TD by Lee and cuts him after 1:17 RT, 4-2. Scramble stalemate, stall warning on Hurst, shot attempt Lee end 1. Lee takes top position spiral ride, ties up ankle, escape Hurst now 4-3. RT at 2:18. Shot TD by Joe, now 6-3. connectivity issues, crap.end of 2, Lee takes down. escape Lee. double, TD now 9-3. sloppy, lets Hurst in for TD, now 9-5, Joe gets ridden out, wins 10-5 with RT. connectivity issues, sorry - out.

Facundo's loss was tough to watch. The better wrestler lost. Bullard wrestled a very defensive match. Facundo was the aggressor the whole match. Was so close on TD sand a reversal , but just couldn't pull it off. Next time they meet Facundo winds handedly in my humble opinion. Leave the RS on and let him get better. He will be a force next year.

The guy Joe Lee wrestles next from Michigan State has not given up a point in 3 matches, 2-0, 9-0, and 7-0.

Poor Beard might have to wait for 2 full seasons before he gets his chance. I really, really, really hope he stays but I wouldn’t blame him one bit if he transferred. He could be the #3 guy at 197 in the country right now and he’s on the bench. Rough.
