22 K's in two games against Texas... we may never see a performance like that again. Fun to watch.
Everytime I watch this or any 2021 highlights I kick myself again for not savoring it more when it happened. And I savored and enjoyed the 17 out of it when it did.
I still consider his performance in the 2021 regionals & CWS as the single most impressive performance by an athlete in MSU history.

has been injured quite a bit in pro ball. hasn't made it out of A ball since he was drafted.
There's no question about this. It's his performance by a long way, who else is even close?
Dontae' Jones had a pretty magical couple of weeks.
Dak did too.
But getting the ring in the end puts Bednar ahead.

Those two strikeouts to end the inning when Notre Dame had the bases loaded, my goodness. And we had a pretty damn good catcher too.
Came here to mention Dak, but the ring at end gives Bednar the leg up.
As impressive as the Texas games were, coming out and no hitting Vandy for 6 innings in the championship game... that takes some serious girodos.
I can remember how anxious I was driving home from work that day. Can't imagine what it felt like going out to pitch with the weight of our first natty on his shoulders.
