Just took a gander at Rattler's stats for some other reason.
In the 2020 season, after which he was deemed a Heisman favorite, his stats were: 3,083 yds, 67.5% completion, 9.6 yds avg, 28 TD/7 Int
His 2023 stats were: 3,186 yds, 68,9% completion, 8.0 yds avg, 19 TDs/8 Int.
The 2020 stats were certainly better, but not by leaps and bounds. And have to consider he put up the 2023 numbers while having only 1 reliable WR, no consistent run game help and being one of the most pressured/sacked QBs in the nation. Hadn't realized the stats were that comparable.
