There’s been a lot of talk about the need for PSU to spread the ball around so more players get touches and are involved. I thought Kotelnicki was brought in to get the ball to the best players in space resulting in explosive plays. That’s been working fine. Against WV, Trey was open, received the ball and made big plays. Against BG, Warren was open and got the ball. In both games, the stud rbs got the ball. I assume Kotelnicki scouts the opponent and finds weaknesses and then targets the receivers based on their weaknesses. I also assume Drew has reads for each play and throws it to the open first read. If Kotelnicki and Drew are doing their job and the first read is consistently open, should he not pass to him and instead throw it to someone else just so they get a touch?
