LaQuinton Ross from Callaway is Rivals.com's number 1 player in the nation for the 2011 class. I've met him and seen him play and the guy is unbelievable.

I'm guessing the Murrah to Alabama connection will be in full force with this one. I know a guy very close to "Q" that is a huge State fan. He said that MSU has a chance, but it'll be tough to get him. Stans will have to beat teams like Memphis, North Carolina, UCLA, etc for him.
Pretty sure he is on him already.
Q is lazy as hell, that is why he transferred.

He feels that Smith will sign with MSU. Back when Osby, Hopson, Bost, and Smith visited MSU last year, Robertson basically made the impression that Smith verbally committed, but didn't come public with it. I believe that's why we haven't gone full force on him. I saw him at a ton of MSU games last year and I've heard he has a good relationship with Osby and Bost. He'll probably take his visits to Clemson, Baylor, and USC and sign with MSU. It would be crazy to lose him with TJ Billups (former MSU player) the head basketball coach at Noxubee County.
