Starkville kid was obviously well under the tag at home. Appeal? Out
Texas kid looked to be just out at 2nd before he got barely under the tag. Appeal? Safe which has given Texas an extra out that has led to a blowout in the last inning.
All you ask for is consistency and the difference in being out and safe was no where close to each other. Even the announcers were half way apologizing saying it wasn't that big of a deal in outcome of the game because Starkville has an at bat left.
