I just don’t have a lot of faith in the PSU offense putting up a bunch of points after that debacle vs. Northwestern.

Penn State will carry a lead into the 4th quarter. Then, thanks to 3-and-outs that burn all of 25 seconds off the clock, and 3-man rushes when on defense, Michigan goes on a run where the QB shreds the Penn State defense with 15 seconds of time to be looking for a receiver, and then nails 8-out-of-8 on every drive to win by 2 TDs.

(Sorry, it happens a lot in big games, to the mediocrity of Barrett, Luwerke, Darnold.....)

I don't see a world in which we lose by a lot. Harbs likes to play field position and establish the run. For the same reason, I could see us winning by a lot as I think we will be looking for explosives and a lot of pass yards(I don't believe our line is quite ready to pound these guys in the run game). Do we get good Cliff or bad cliff? Do we turn the ball over or get them to? I see this as either a resounding win for us10-14 points) or a loss. I trust Harbs and his style of play more in a tight game. I'll predict cliff and the team comes out guns blazing for once:

J.J. McCarthy will be the Heisman front runner after that 4th quarter. PSU always does that out of courtesy for their opponents

I mean, predicting the score is not costing me any money. Why would I predict anything other than a Penn State victory?
I've always wondered why fans make predictions of their team to lose in like a 1 or 2 point game. If its going to be a coin flip it costs you nothing to predict that your team will end up on the winning side.

I've seen some growth in this regard, let's hope this isn't the case anymore. It appears to me Diaz is a lot less likely to sit in prevent and let opposing QB's get comfortable at the end of a game. Unlike shoop and Pry's idea of protecting leads late.

While I like the sarcasm and some truths to it...with our secondary with an 8-man drop I will take our chances ;) I prefer 2 High and man under with 1 LB spying QB ;)

I think this could go either way. I absolutely DREAD the scenario Bruce lays out since we've seen that one many times before. I do think Michigan will likely get some home cookin'.

Reluctantly....

Two Keys to victory :
* Hold Corum under 70 yds total in production total of run and pass.
* Decent emphasis with our TE’s in game plan….especially in RZ.
* Assuming these two things happen…PSU 23 Mich 21

scUM 20

Our best defender gets ejected in 1st qtr for targeting and they put 3 seconds back on the clock in 4th qtr which give scUM one more play to score the winning
I thought it was 2 seconds the big ten ref's add back on the clock in 2005 after Lloyd Carr cried about it for 5 minutes.

You know, michigan men and “women” (and no one else) consider their school to be HARVARD. OF. THE. WEST. o_O . It stands to reason that michigan would have first-rate latte-and-scone tailgates. If anyone here goes to the game, please post a report from the lots. I must know.

IF we make our FG's and XP's (huge IF, sad to say)... kick the damned thing into the endzone, and play solid elsewhere on ST's, I like us by a FG. Call it

Why I don't know, but 26-23 sounds about right.

What difference would it make if it was an 11 AM kickoff? It's the same for both teams.

I think we get good Cliff. He has us rolling early. Play action actually holds the LBers and our TEs shred Michigan.

Michigan exploits our LBers but we get two turnovers.

Pinegar misses an opportunity to ice it away but we hold on for the win
