They probably give resolutions to the girl scout troop that sells the most cookies. Relax. This kind of thing happens all of the time.

My father served a long, long time in state government. He was well-respected and they did a resolution for him when he retired.

They couldn't even get the damn resolution right.

"WHEREAS, when Coach Croom began as head football coach at MSU in 2004, he inherited a team that had endured six straight losing seasons and he was faced with the awesome challenge of rebuilding a football program while having to install new offensive and defensive systems with a new coaching staff; and"

We had losing seasons in 1998-2000? That's news to me.

By far these kinds of resolutions are the most things passed. You'll see common sense bills die in committee while crap like this passes. Our State Legislature is practically worthless. One of them recently introduced a bill that would have forbid restaurants serving obese people. When asked about it the legislator said he just wanted to do something about obesity, to help bring the problem to light. By introducing a bill that is unconstitutional and inpractical?

/end political rant</p>

players regularly for guns & how he was winning only 3 damn games a season his first 3 years & how we lost to Maine, Tulane, etc. etc. etc.& that his players names have been in the newspapers just as much as Jackie's players & that the best offense is a defense that can pick off passes & run them for TD's ?( otherwise, we would'nt have even made it to a winning season in 07)
