9:30 pm at Arizona State means sipping Irish Whiskey rather than drinking cold beer

9:30 PM as in Pacific time so stick to the beer. Beer is better than Irish Whiskey any time of the day or night though to me

Arizona State game is going to be pretty sketchy at night. Not a good team last year but added a lot through the portal.

Interesting that State and OM kick off the sec home games with 11am'ers. OM gets their first two at 11am and we get two of 3 early.

Also both Mississippi schools are scheduled for early v Arkansas. The games v Arkansas must have low ratings annually as that game seems to be early every year. Seems to be...

Again, 11am slots are not where bad games go to die.

It's where schools play that will have lesser ratings at night, compared to conference peers.
It's the time slot where fans hate to show up at, especially those more than a couple hours away or those that have tailgates to set up. Roads on MSU campus close at 8:00 so you have to get there before then in time to unload and be out of the area before streets close. I'm speaking for those that have tents, chairs, tables, tv, satellite, generator, etc etc etc to unload and set up.

We should change our mascot to beaches. Because, We love to beach about start times, refs, SEC leadership, our leadership, the heat, the cold, piss cups, templetom troughs, NIL, the sun, the stadium seats, crowd noise, Jumbotron videos, sound too high, sound too low, color coordinating outfits, and blue tents, among others.

Intents!

That's local time here. 7:30 out there.
And, interestingly, AZ isn’t on Pacific time. They don’t recognize daylight savings time except for Navajo county. I know this because of company scheduling hell twice a year

We will likely always have lower ratings compared to most peers in the sec…. But isn’t the sec/espn trying to counter the big 10 early game now?

I’m like most of you guys and associate the early game as a crap slot (from a tv perspective) and it definitely sucks during the early part of the season. Only good thing about the early slot is making it home in time to see late games.

Shame we couldn’t have figured this out years ago.
Obviously with CBS having first pick and not having to decide until 13 days before it would have been more complicated, but not necessarily moreso than the “flex” thing they’ve got going on here.

I think we're missing a point while debating kickoff times:

11 AM on ESPN: that's a highly-rated spot
11 AM on SECN: that's where they put the **** matchups.

Arkansas will probably be on SECN.

What's even more interesting is that the Navajo Reservation, which makes up a LARGE part of the NE part of the state DOES observe DST. ALSO, the Hopi Reservation, which is entirely within the Navajo Reservation, follows Arizona in not observing it.

Remember back when absolutely the only thing we had to complain about was Carolina Pride Hotdogs? Good times. We were at the pinnacle of State athletic utopia and didn’t even know it.

It’s a prime spot if it’s an ESPN game. MSU/ Arkansas will be an SECN game. Which is where they put the terrible matchups no matter the time slot.

We don’t fill the stadium at night either so can we stop the charade that night games matter?

we have the whiniest fan base in the SEC and most of the time we aren’t deserving of what the fans are bitching about.
So after "bitching" about the baseball stadium every chance you get, now you're going to start in on not filling the football stadium? Do you hate the Hump too?

I don’t care about the baseball stadium. I just think yall are stupid bitching about a national champ winning coach.

in summary. MSU fans are stupid
