The combined total number of games started at Mississippi State by those 3 players……four games. Total.

Only one of them has ever been in the portal.
A more accurate description would be that everyone we normally would have taken to media days is playing for another school now….because of the portal.

Well last year we had 30+ starts going and we saw how that year ended up.***
Use to these guys would be 3 or 4 or even 5 yr Sr guys who’d been in the program that whole time and you saw them develop into players that were attending Media Days for a reason.
Am I the only one who can’t make Blake Shapen be our quarterback? I had to think for a minute to even come up with the idea that he transferred from somewhere. I think…
Reese has started 3 and Lewis has started 1.
Reese played 70ish total offensive snaps last year….all season. Played another 60ish on special teams.
Lewis has 24 career tackles and 0 sacks….in 3 years.
If these are the “leaders”, the cupboard is pretty bare.

Was he the Offensive Lineman when Mullen was here? That's who I was thinking about. My memory is fading a little but if I remember correctly there was a Canadian flag flown in the stadium.
