Everyone overreacting to a guy who is passionate about playing and losing. A big nothing burger. Watch soccer players sometime when they don’t even get hit and fall like they are shot. Now that is some bs!

agreed. i mean the dude spent the entire season on a team ranked in the top 5 with monster expectations, had a huge emotional hit when his teammate almost died, then got smoked at home in the divisional round. who wouldn't be emotional after that?

i'm an eagles fan, and the way AJ Brown was acting at the end of the eagles giants game wasn't great either. but it's an emotional game, and star players want the ball. WRs especially. they want a chance to help their team and if they're not getting thrown the ball they get upset that they can't help their team.

Exactly. That is why all the other Bills reacted that way. Throw your team and teammates under the bus. See it all the time.

I've always found it interesting that when some players show their immaturity and selfishness with these outbursts, the terms "passionate" and "competitive" are used to excuse their behavior.

Conversely, some other players are called "bad teammates", "selfish", and "cancers" when they act this way. For example, Philip Rivers acted like an idiot at times. His behavior was excused - and the players are enabled - because he was so "competitive" (of course he never won anything, but that's another topic). If Ben Roethlisberger had ever behaved in that manner, he would have been widely criticized.

After watching Stefon Diggs' act while he was at Maryland, he should get no benefit of the doubt from Penn State fans.
For their roles in the handshake incident that preceded the Maryland's game against Penn State, the Big Ten has suspended Terrapins wide receiver Stefon Diggs one game and reprimanded head coach Randy Edsall. Maryland will also have to pay a $10,000 fine. The Big Ten characterized the team's decision-making as "exceptionally regrettable" and came down on Edsall for "failing to control his team."

In addition to being one of the captains involved in the decision to not shake hands with Penn State, Diggs also appeared to slightly stiff-arm a ref who was attempting to quell the kerfuffle that preceded it.

Yeah we know your despise for Diggs when he was a college student. Where is your criticism for Bosa slamming his helmet in the game the other day? Way more obvious.

Yeah, and double down on Twitter, acting as if he’s the only one who cared about the fact they lost.

Yeah, name one player on the Bills team who wasn’t emotional after the loss on Sunday, who wasn’t crushed.

Has he learned how to hold his breath till he gets what he wants....or does he need to mature to reach that stage?

No doubt every single one of them. Most didn't project their frustrations on teammates who were equally disappointed.

Bosa took a ton of heat for being stupid and possibly costing his team the game. However, that was a totally different scenario and Bosa didn't crap on his teammates.

I have no problem with him showing frustration and Josh should have told him to STFU. I do, however, question why anyone would wear a mop on their head before the game? 🤷‍♂️

Neither did Diggs. He crapped on no one. Wild take there but if you hate Diggs, I guess that is where it comes from.

Diggs was acting that way from the first drive, watch his reaction after Allen overthrows him on the first series of the game......Everyone on the team wants to win, you don't have to act like he did everytime something occurred that he didn't like. His actions were not confined to that one sideline incident and leaving the locker room early.

The DIggs family leaves a lot to be desired. They are from here in Montgomery Co MD, I know them tangentially. They have been bad apples for a long time. Stefon went to Good Counsel and got away with anything he wanted. I personally dont know how he got in to MD and Trevor was basically kicked out of Wootton HS and went to Avalon because his grades were so bad the WCAC schools couldnt get him in.

And maybe you’re giving Diggs a pass simply because he plays for Buffalo, your team. Possible?

All I can say is that if I saw a Penn State or Washington Commanders player acting the way Diggs did on Sunday, I’m confident I’d feel the exact same way I do about Diggs’ behavior. It was unprofessional.

Yeah, it’s a nothingburger, especially when compared to how Bosa hurt his team’s chances, but if you think it’s unreasonable for people to be responding as they are, then I got nothing to add.

Not giving him a pass because he is a Bill. Have you seen his tweets afterwards? Did you see when they lost to the Chiefs three years ago he lingered on the field and McDermott came out and talked to him? Did you see him take an Uber and stay in Cincinnati with Hamlin? Did you see him in his relationship with the kid who lost his father and how compassionate he was with him? People like to latch onto “bites” of info to define a person because humans are too lazy to look further than what they perceive right in front of them. In other words, don’t be so quick to cast stones.

I'd love to see Diggs reaction if Josh Allen showed him up like that. Got a hunch it wouldn't be "well, Josh just really wants to win so I'm cool with it"

I was three paragraphs into your post before I noticed that you said you had nothing to add. In the future please place your disclaimer in the first sentence of the first paragraph (if multiple paragraphs are used), otherwise the first sentence will be sufficient. I'm a Bills fan - thought the downfall was the Bills 'D' which seemingly had no answer for the Bengals 'O'. New never-before seen plays/formations? Outstanding trickery? Something, because their receivers were wiiiide open far too often which cost them the game. Plus - Burrow might now the best QB in the NFL.

Manning came across as a whining beotch and a teammate stepped up into his face. Also, at the end Manning made a point of saying he was miked up which leads me to believe he was mainly putting on a show. #44 was getting a laugh out of it.

But I see what you're getting at. It's the, "Yeah, but other people do it too" defense.

Win as a team and lose as a team. It seems that there are some out there -- and a lot of them are wide receivers -- who don't follow along with that premise. A competitor is always allowed to show emotion. It's when you show up your teammates is where it crosses a line with some of us. Due to his stupidity as a Twerp, I will always root against Diggs with on-the-field results. I commend him with his off-the-field stuff, especially with what he did for that young fan who lost his father.
