Doesn’t he still have a Covid year plus 2 or 3 years of medical redshirts? He pitched in 3 games in 2022 and none in 2023 or 2024.

2023 would count as his redshirt. 2020 didn't count at all. So he's got 2021, 2022, 2024. He will have one year left and will have just turned 24. Thankfully he's not one of those guys that got held back. Highly doubt they'd grant him a medical redshirt when he's already getting a 6th year. He don't want it anyway, guarantee you he wants to pitch one year and get drafted as soon as possible.

Basically the same way Spencer Price got 2021, when he started in 2016. 2018 was his redshirt year and again, 2020 didn't count.

Surgery on what? Didn't have have TJ surgery after his '22 injury? Or am I getting him confused with one or our other many pitchers that had TJ surgery in 2022.
Had another procedure today.

2025 is his year at this point.

So what happened? I thought he was coming back this season and waited and waited and then heard Sunday That he was out again.
Is coaching 1B that dangerous?***

One roster spot doesn’t make that big of a difference, but we seem to have more roster spots occupied than most teams with injured players that were never going to play… we cut borderline players that might make a difference one day and kept players that may never be healthy enough to play.
