How about the massive budget inflation without winning anything? She’s been great for job creation, specifically Asst Athletic Directors. Beyond that, nothing.
Well, to be fair, we can’t forget about the facilities master plan. After 7 years we have…….. uhh, never mind. ;)

What we have is a very large and expensive doorstop.

What I will never understand is why Beaver Stadium and BJC were put on the back burner. Total ineptitude and cowardice.

That plan has already been dropped in the trash can. Let's hope he ends the Populous relationship.

Dunno how much of the blame for this abortion rests with Populous. Have to believe that they were given direction fom PSU regarding the scope of facilities. Also don't believe they had much, if any, say in the timing of projects.

Feasibility studies/design get friends paid without soliciting bids.

They did a terrible job in the past. Three are better organizations to employ and they should separate the study, design and build to avoid the cash drain by the vendor.

Generally speaking conceptual and engineering design does not require a public bid process. Since these services are very specific public entities have freedom to retain anyone who has that skill set.

And yes relationships count.

Where bids ARE required to be solicited is when construction happens.

But if you have information that dictates public entities have to solicit bids for engineering concept/design please link. I would like to see that.

You're saying the same thing that I am. I will add that those relationships can be abused hence getting friends paid without bidding restrictions.

No I am not saying saying the same thing. It’s two seoerate things.

Engineering services are considered professional services. That’s a completely different service than hiring contractors.

To hire a contractor the public entity has to put
bid
There no requirement or rule for bidding professional services. The public entity hired a orudessiibal service like you would hire a lawyer or accountant for your business.

Consultants/engineers are not the same as contractors.

Honestly - I do this almost every day.

I really cannot make this any simpler

I know this. I have a trade union background and deal with public money frequently on a different end. I know about prevailing wage, bid requirements, and bonding etc.

Unless the bidding process is rigged, it's hard to funnel money to a friend or political contributor. Not so much on the design/feasibility side. I'm not sure why you think I'm in disagreement with you.

Yes that's Uncle Munchak.

Brother. 3 years of pandemic related economic constraints can do that a bit. Face it, she's a woman. A gay woman, and it bothered you. When you compare Grade point avg. of the student athletes during tenures, her's is the highest. All other sports are about the same as they were under any other AD. Stadium renovation was slowed, again, due to the pandemic. She was not a bad AD. Just a gay woman and that bugs some of you.

Wow. You are a true mind reader huh? I think she’s terrible because of her gender and sexual orientation and don’t base my judgment on anything relevant? She wasn’t a bad AD - she was awful. I didn’t see the pandemic slowing down Bama, Ohio State, etc.

What bugs me is she never moved the needle forward on facilities, fundraising, winning, coaching hires, etc. Thrilled about the GPA. I’m hoping that’s because she hired 14 AD’s in charge of ‘athlete GPA performance.’

Way to make generalizations about me. Clown.

And nurturing a no accountability for results culture as our football program, the #1 cash cow and crown jewel for the university, slips into mediocrity.
